RECOVERED HYPERLINK: PAPAL ENDORSEMENT STORY (2016)
The page that lived here was fabricated. The link outlived it.
/archive/071916-pf/
In July 2016 this address carried a story headlined “Pope Francis Shocks World, Endorses Hillary Clinton for President, Releases Statement.” It was not true. No such endorsement was made, then or since. The headline is reproduced here only so you can recognise the link you followed.
A fabricated political story that circulated from this domain in July 2016, claiming a papal endorsement that never happened. It was one of several near-identical "papal endorsement" hoaxes produced by a network of fake local-TV news websites. No such endorsement was ever made.
What survives: the hyperlink, the fact-checks, and a web-page-shaped hole. The present site occupies the domain, not the claim.
