In 2016 a page at this address announced, under a headline resembling “Father of the Bride III to Be Filmed in Utica, New York — Find Out Plot Details,” that a beloved comedy sequel would shoot in Utica, New York. Residents shared it. A local radio station checked. There was no production office, no permits, no catering truck idling on Genesee Street.

A fabricated local-interest story claiming a major film sequel would shoot in Utica, New York. It belonged to a mass-produced template ("[famous film] to be filmed in [your town]") that the same network ran across hundreds of locations. No production ever came.

The street is still there. The film is not. This file is kept open in case it ever turns up.
